Troubleshooting
Bluetooth problems
If a Bluetooth keyboard or Bluetooth output (computer or iPad) will not connect, drops out, or behaves oddly, the most reliable fix is to unpair and pair again:
- On echolocation, open the Bluetooth settings for the keyboard or computer connection.
- Forget / unpair the device from echolocation.
- On the keyboard, computer, or iPad, also forget echolocation (or the keyboard) in that device’s Bluetooth settings if it still appears there.
- Pair again from scratch using Connecting a keyboard or Connecting an output device.
Clearing the old pairing on both sides avoids half-connected states that are hard to recover from.
Reset button
If the device freezes, will not wake, or Bluetooth still misbehaves after re-pairing, press the reset button on the front of the CoreS3 (the round button marked with a circular arrow, next to the microSD slot). That restarts echolocation without wiping your settings.
See Power for where the power and reset buttons are, and how to charge the device.
